Coastal Sounds Festival

24 May 2024

Coastal Sounds Festival, a free winter live music event along Adelaide’s western beaches, will be held on the public holiday, Monday 10 June.

Created by the City of Charles Sturt and Port Adelaide Enfield, Coastal Sounds is expanding its offerings to include visual arts experiences and dance workshops. The 13km shoreline festival now extends into Semaphore, and will feature 26 live music performances, art experiences, and dance workshops in 11 locations in West Beach, Henley Beach, Grange, Semaphore Park and Semaphore.

The unique music event welcomes our local community and visitors to enjoy the beach in winter with an afternoon of intimate performances from new, emerging, and established artists. With no stages or speakers, each act will share their music with the coast as their backdrop in selected walkways, reserves, shelters, and amphitheatres stretching along Adelaide’s shoreline.

With the stunning coast as both backdrop and canvas, the Coastal Sounds program boasts Adelaide’s most diverse range of artists, music genres, dance styles, ages, and experiences, including:
